Peer Review Process
The journal uses double-blind system for peer-review; both reviewers and authors' identities remain anonymous. The paper will be peer-reviewed by two experts. The peer review process ensures that only original work is published and helps in maintaining the high standards of the journal. The review process consists of the following steps:
- First evaluation of the manuscript is performed by the editor. A manuscript in exceptional cases may be accepted or rejected at this stage only. The exceptional reasons for acceptance could be highly innovative work directly leading to the benefit of human society whereas the rejection could be due to non-original work, serious technical errors or poor usage of English language. The authors whose manuscripts are rejected at this stage are informed within 10 days of receipt. Manuscript meeting the minimum criteria is forwarded to concerned editor. For this reasons authors are advised to have their papers subjected to an internal review process before submission and also have the paper checked by a fluent English speaker.
- The editor then forwards the manuscript to two reviewers from outside with strong competences to the paper's topic. The database of referees is constantly being updated and enlarged.
- Reviewers are requested to evaluate the manuscript within a period of 30 days on the basis of following criteria:
- The work is original
- Relevance and usefulness
- Technical Correctness
- Language Usage
- Presentation and Interpretation of Results
The reviewer convinces the editor to accept the paper as it is, reject it or revise the manuscript with minor or major revisions. - The editor's decision is final and is forwarded to the author with the recommendations/comments by the reviewers.
